Our ratio in the room is 1 care giver to 5 infants. We can take up to 16 infants in the room at one time. We take pride in providing a nurturing environment and offer a variety of activities to support each baby's developmental needs. The staff have the skills and knowledge to best promote each child's learning and growth.

Our activities include: tummy time, floor play, lullabies and playful music, exersaucers, jumperoos, and swings too. We practice sitting, crawling, and standing. Common routine in our room includes: changing diapers every 2 hours or earlier if necessary, holding the children during bottle feedings, and tones of TLC. Our door is always open.

Look out mom and dad I�m starting to bust a move! Here in the mobile infant room I have a wide open space to practice my crawling and explore. They also provide many toys that encourage me to stand up and begin walking. My favorite toys include push toys and the crawling tunnel. In this room I�m still held during bottle feeding times. I can also start eating the center foods when you feel that I�m ready. The teachers will work with you on finding out what works best for me during feeding times, nap times, and discuss my developmental milestones.

Now that I'm walking I don't want to miss a thing. In this room the teachers are starting to develop a structured daily routine where I'm able to explore my creativity, mobility, and personality through many hands on activities such as: music, gym time, play dough, and many sensory activities. Our ratio in this room is 1:5, so we will continue to have one on one time with our teachers.

Our energy level fits our class name well. I love all the fun activities my teachers have coordinated to help me develop my surroundings. In this room the staff will work on potty training. We continue to have a 1:5 ratio in this room and can have up to 20 children in the room. We will continue to work on small and large motor exercises, music, and science.

This is a wonderful transition room from the Bubbly Two's to the Preschool rooms. The Blue star room will continue to work on potty training . We will continue to have a 1:5 ratio. Our lesson plans in the Blue star room will allow us to continue to learn through exploration by following the South Dakota Early Learning Guidelines and having an opportunity to use the Montessori Area for an hour each day. Oh! The best part about Apple Tree West is that they have a gym for me to run around and play games in. During the winter time I don't have to freeze.

The preschool rooms will help me become prepared for Kindergarten. Each room follows the South Dakota Early Learning Guidelines which include activities in Science, Math, Physical Science, music, and much more. We also have a wonderful opportunity to utilize the Montessori Learning for an hour each day. During this time we are able to learn at our own pace. Each of the rooms are capable of having 20 children and 2 teachers. We will also have an opportunity to go on many adventurous field trips through out the year. We are also able to take time out of our day to play outside or in the gym.

Our center provides a safe and learning enriched atmosphere for your children before and after school. Our center provides transportation to and from the following schools: JFK, Oscar Howe, Discovery, and St. Michaels. Locations are subject to change. The children are given an afternoon snack when they arrive to the center. The children are then separated into four groups and rotate to the following stations: homework, free play, outside/physical science, and a hands-on learning station. The staff to child ratio in the school age room is 1:15.

During the summer months our school age program turns into educational activities and fun. Several field trips are planned each week to keep them on the go. Some of our summer events include: swimming at our local pools, talent shows, picnics, park plays, and many more.
